This G2 Gray Iron has optimal strength, wear and hardness when compared to other gray iron grades.
Gray Iron Round Bar is stocked in an assortment of diameters, from 0.625” to 26.560”. As-cast round bars are made to clean up to the nominal size. Additional stock is added to allow for out-of-round and normal imperfections in the as-cast surface. For applications with demanding tolerances, centerless grinding and turning services are available. Standard bar lengths are 72", but we can supply them in lengths up to 144”.
