Gray Iron Rectangle Bar plays a pivotal role in the fluid power and oil and gas industries. This cast material can be supplied with an as-cast surface finish or pre-milled surface with minimal stock to clean up. It is used in a variety of applications, from machine manifolds to components in heavy machinery.
Gray Iron Rectangle Bar is stocked in many sizes, from 0.750" x 1.500" to 16.000" x 28.000”. As-cast rectangles are made to the actual size with no allowance for machine stock added. Rectangles are cast to actual dimension, with clean up stock dependent on the height-and-width ratio. Rectangles can be milled to achieve close-tolerance benefits. Stock length is 72”, but up to 144” lengths are available upon request. See Dura-Bar Iron Stock Allowances for details.
