About Us

Since 1956, Industrial Tube and Steel have been serving the steel tubing and continuous cast iron needs of businesses in the Midwest. Family-owned and operated, I.T.S. is a rapidly growing mid-size company with quality steel products, dedicated employees, and superior customer service.

When Edmund (E.G.) Siess, Jr. founded I.T.S. in 1956 it was a one-truck operation located in Akron, Ohio with limited inventory and a few loyal customers and hardworking employees.  Since I.T.S.'s entrepreneurial beginnings, Industrial Tube & Steel Corporation has grown immensely while still carrying the same views, beliefs, and customer loyalty that Edmund Siess, Jr. held in 1956. Former President and Edmund’s son, Richard Siess, always believed that the recipe for success was investing in his employees and putting his trust in his team to satisfy customers' needs above and beyond their expectations. This allowed I.T.S. to continue to grow a positive culture for the new generation and future generations.

Richard (Dick) Siess spent 40 years growing the company his father started into a multi-faceted industry leader in the carbon tubing and continuous cast iron markets.  Through Dick’s vision, I.T.S. continued to push the limit of customer satisfaction, reliability, and geographic reach.  Through dedication, hard work, and perseverance, Dick grew Industrial Tube and Steel Corporation to over 70 highly knowledgeable employees, and a warehouse space of over 200,000 square feet across two locations in Kent, Ohio, and Cincinnati, Ohio.  Richard Siess’s ambition continues to hold true through his inspiration and mentoring of the 3rd generation of ownership. Damon Gaynor and Geoff Siess are now Co-Presidents of Industrial Tube & Steel Corporation.  They continue working diligently to move I.T.S. to even higher levels through a superior customer-centric focus and employee-friendly culture while maintaining many of the traditions, legacies, and cultures of their grandfather and uncle.

With high-quality steel tubing, unquestioned customer service, and fast turnaround time, Industrial Tube & Steel Corporation continues to be a leader in the metalworking industry.  With our own fleet of trucks and in-house capabilities, we are always able to ensure fast service and timely delivery. We service Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
